Laura dropped Stephen and I off at IAH around 1:30pm today. We knew we had a wait before our 4:55pm departure, but Laura provided a couple of United Club passes. On the way to the airport, I got a notification that our 4:55pm departure was delayed due to air traffic control issues. The new departure time is now 5:40pm with an arrival in Newark of 10:13pm. The next leg of our journey is supposed to leave Newark at 10:30pm, so it will be close.
The club is nice and quiet with an open bar and lots of snacks. The open bar will help us sleep tonight. We are scheduled to arrive in Reykjavik at 8:10am tomorrow (Monday) morning. We meet the tour group at 7:45am Tuesday morning in the hotel lobby.
